Stainless Mug Instructions for Wraps

These mugs feature a removable liner that enables the use of Cactus Wraps for imprinting. They are not recommended for use with a mug press without an insert in the outer shell to prevent collapsing under the pressure. Inserts are available separately. Unscrewing the bottom and pulling the thermal liner out can easily disassemble the mug, and after pressing, simply reassemble the liner by pushing it all of the way down and screwing the bottom back on tight (see image for picture of separate parts)

Time is approximately 7 to 8 minutes at 400° in an oven (Versa Coat should be at a slightly lower temperature, about 380°). Mug Press times are approximately 2 to 2½ minutes with the insert. The shell can be cooled under running water for a brief time (10 seconds) to stop the inks from further sublimating, and for ease of handling. Due to the nature of stainless, be sure to prepare your image accordingly by increasing your color saturation, and if possible use a printer setting designed for transparencies or back-light film.

Although some feature the harder Ink-Jet Coating, the mug design allows for water to seep inside the shell using a dishwasher. For that reason, we recommend hand washing unless disassembled first.
